Morgado is an almond cake made with pumpkin filling and soft eggs and topped with Fondane or soft eggs. This cake is made in the same way that Morgadinhos, but is larger. The scion is decorated with pearl sugar and with flowers made of almond paste that mimic the almond blossom.
